LWS CU1 - You may work out in the hall to rehearse and to record your projects. I took a look and made a few notes on your projects (they are on the desk that is to the left of mine, in the corner). As long as you have met the requirements on your evaluation sheet, no changes are necessary, but keep in mind the notes I've written for exam time. Please send your phone recordings of your work to my gmail account by the end of the class today.
There is additional work for you to get started on (a new concept) that the teacher will have if you are finished and ready to move forward.
LWS BD1 - You may continue working on your exam questions and enjoy the film that I have left for you to explain more about the Mayans. I will be able to answer questions about your exam questions on Wednesday or on Thursday of this week only, so please be prepared, and ask questions when you can!

For the rest of class, you will work on your handouts from yesterday. They need to be finished for tomorrow. Be sure you use your PRESENT TENSE notes to conjugate the reflexive verbs we learned yesterday.

Don't forget, and please remember it is on all parts of passé composé that we have been practising. You will also have a listening component to this test.
Be prepared to look at pictures and identify them in P.C., know the p.p.s of verbs (and irregular avoir verbs... those rhyming ones) and decide whether or not you would use P.C. in a sentence and how it would be used (like your activities today).
Your written fairy tale will be handed in at the beginning of class tomorrow for a written mark out of ten as well.

Here are your instructions for today.
PERIOD 1 -- You may continue to watch the Goya film if you wish. You have watched about half of it to this point. I also left you Goya's Ghosts, with Javier Bardem and Natalie Portman. Please take a vote if you'd like to watch something while you work. Majority rules!
LWS BD1 - You can work quietly and prepare for your reading test tomorrow. Your listening test has been postponed due to a trip tomorrow and you will only have a reading test.
On your reading test, you will have two different dialogues to read after which you will have questions to answer. There will be some blanks to fill throughout each dialogue.
In preparation, I would like for you to read over and reflect the past dialogues you have had and read. It would be beneficial to recreate some of your own dialogues (think in the restaurant, or in the market) to apply vocab and prepare yourself for filling in the blanks with logical words. This test will be approximately 30 marks.
LWS CU1- You can rehearse for tomorrow's listening task, and read capitulo 8. It will be on your listening test tomorrow. Remember, I posted the outline for your test on Friday.

LWSCU1 You will be have a listening test based on Los Secretos on martes. This is a large test, worth 50 marks.
For the first exercise, you will listen to sentences from the book. Identify who is speaking.
For the second exercise, you will listen to the clues and tell me what vocab work is being described.
FSF1D - Don't forget to complete your reading comprehension sheet for the beginning of class MONDAY

I wasn't expecting to be away today, and I will return tomorrow. All presentations are postponed until Thursday. Here are your instructions for the day.
LWS CU1
You will be continuing Los Secretos de Familia today and tomorrow. Today your goal is to read and complete the questions in the reader for capitulo 3. Jueves you will be recording your voice reading aloud in a group of 3 or 4 and will read capitulo 4 (with the questions due for homework for viernes). It will be practice for your next oral evaluation. Que tenga un buen dia y hasta manana!
LWS BD1
You will be preparing for our market interactions that will happen on Friday. Using pagina 63, 71, y 77, be prepared to practice in class a restaurant situation where you can act as a waiter (mesero/a) and a customer (cliente). Know how to order (What are you going to order? Something else? Are you very hungry or thirsty?) and how to talk about what you eat and drink?
ANSWER: What verb do you use to talk about eating (to eat = ______________)? What verb do you use to talk about drinking ( to drink or to take = _________________)?
In addition, complete exercises 2 and 5 on pagine 66 and 67.
Helpful hints: frio/a = cold, caliente = hot, dulce = sweet, picante = spicy. Hasta manana and have a nice day!
