FSF 2D - Aujourd'hui, nous avons écouté et discuté  notre jeunesse. We played telephone by practicing describing our childhood. Quand j'étais jeune, je pleurais beaucoup. In a friendly competition, we completed an activity matching up things one used to do. Click here to see the activity.   We took up homework and also starting working on descriptions of the past and what the differences are. HOW ACCRO are you? We saw an example of our French phrases presentation today as well. Students did a great job listening to a dialogue in French and figuring out what the term 'accro' means. They will present one of their own this semester. Click the links to see photos to remind you.   Don't forget those helpful words that will remind / give context to completed actions!
accro de portables - you know who you are - tu sais qui tu es!!! - ☺   ACCRO!!!!!!!!!

FSF 1D - Today, we had our homework checked. Most were completed the sheet and can identify people to their personality traits. Our goal was to read some explanations of family members and to create a good gift list for those family members based on what we read. Students first completed a speaking activity describing people, we watched a video and distinguished which likes and dislikes belonged to Dana, as well as which adjectives described her and her ideal friend.  Video link here: Bonjour, je m'appelle Dana.  Today, students met their goal by creating thoughtful lists. They are prepared now to create a Family tree that will describe what people like to do, are, and have.
Family tree will be due September 25 at the end of class.

FSF 3U / FSF 4U -  Students today completed an enquête, and a sondage. We described the majorité of answers of possible future predictions. Students have been working on pronunciation and rephrasing, as well as vocabulary in preparation for our monde du travail CV, interview and discussion. We completed our annonces (they will start demain!) and students received their journals with feedback. There will be a listening activity on Friday.
