FSF 1D - Bonnes vacances! You have an exam list of questions that was given out about 2 weeks ago that you can prepare, as well as a fortune teller task that will be due January 7.  The task is available on elearning if you need a copy.

FSF 1P - Bonnes vacances! Your culminating activity is due January 12. More examples and templats that you may use are on elearning.

FSF 3U / 4U - Bonnes vacances! Votre essai is due for peer editing le 6 janvier and the final copy is due le 9 janvier.     FSF 3Us have a list of speaking exams questions that could be prepared as well.

FSF 1D - We spoke en français and gave others prompted predictions in the future. We rehearsed the future simple and its irregular forms. The students have a quiz review in their booklet that they are now capable of completing and there is an exam help page (where students describe what certainly will happen and will not happen in our lives and in the world) that is for homework.

FSF 1P - Today students had the option to do a holiday scavenger hunt for extra marks, and they were to complete their organizers that will help completing the culminating activity. There is another example on elearning. Remember the project and the rubrics are there as well.

FSF 3U / 4U - We had a subjunctive and subjunctive passé quiz and watched Raphael: Citoyen du monde.

FSF 1D- We did some listening activities, listened to songs that use futur simple in their irregulars and we completed a chart.

FSF 1P- We had a holiday reading activity and we worked on our culminating activities.

FSF 3U / 4U - We had some work on the subjonctif et le subjonctif passé and we worked on our essais. Helpful links for essays topics are on elearning as well as the outline and rubric. NECESSARY PEER EDITING ON JAN 6 and FINAL COPY due JAN 9.

FSF 1D- We have started learning about how to talk about things that will happen. Things that happened today were ; we listened to and read Mme's predictions of the classmates, we had to find people in the class who will be doing certain actions in their future, we completed two activities our package.


FSF 1P - Today students had elearning and worked on their projects. They should now know what they are doing for each activity. We will have a bit of time each day (and / or a lab day) throughout the week to work on them. Students have seen and read many helpful exemplars and I will be available at lunch each day if there are any questions.

FSF 3/4U - We watched a presentation. We listened to two songs and did two activities on the subjunctive Find the link to the activity here

We saw an irregular chart, acted as parents, bosses and teachers and talked about important dates coming up in the new year.

FSF 1D- We completed a listening and a reading activity. We also listened to and described skills that our classmates have.

FSF 1P - We read and analysed a few examples of good culminating assignments and had time to work more on our Major Major Music Project.

FSF 3U / 4U - Presentations were completed and we confirmed exam dates and tasks. We completed work on the subjunctive. Pop quiz next week! =)

FSF 1D- Nous avons joué des jeux et nous avons lu des comparaisons de la musique! Reading and listening activity tomorrow.

FSF 1P- We discussed and became aware of our final culminating activity. Students had time to brainstorm and choose what topics they wanted to present. The project outline, rubrics and exemplars will be available on elearning tomorrow.

FSF 3U / 4U - Nous avons discuté l'analyse des essais. We are now prepared to write our essais and have seen examples. We also did work on le subjonctif et le subjonctif passé. Gr. 11s acted as doctors to give advice to an ailing teacher and learned some irregulars. You will have homework this weekened so please be prepared!!!

   I hope you had a good weekend! Here are your instructions for today and there are instructions on my desk (with work) as well.

   FSF 1D - Bonjour! You have a handout to complete on comparisons. Please follow the instructions carefully! If you finish, there is also a handout with the speaking exam questions that (by the end of the semester) you should be able to answer. Answer the questions that you feel comfortable answering to the best of your ability.
ALSO, if you can help with our petit dejeuner breakfast this jeudi, please do!! Ca serait fantastique! Feel free to come at whatever time is best for you!

FSF 1D-  We made and read comparisons about people doing things well, and how good people are things are. We also watched le film.

FSF 1P- We also compared people and actions. We completed le film and we answered the questions on the blog. They are to be in tomorrow.

FSF 3U / 4U - We did some choix multiples questions that mysterious disappeared from the test yesterday. If you weren't here for it, please come in at lunch to catch up.  Then, we went to the lab and your work is on elearning. Please be prepared for your presentations tomorrow, and the work on elearning needs to be ready for Monday.

Bonjour tout le monde!!

FSF 1D-  Listened to and guessed the fairy tales and nursery rhymes en français. You presented your recreations of some as well and we created a chart describing what we heard from the presentations. We also started watching some music videos en français that we will be comparing using the comparison and superlative.

FSF 1P- Students discovered music today (in elearning) and rated it as the début of our music unit. This was also catch up day for some students. Some students are expected to come see me at lunch to catch up / present outstanding tasks.

FSF 3U / 4U - Nous avons lu des messages de gentillesse avant une petite révision et puis nous avons écrit un test de comprehension!!

FSF 1D - We worked on our recipes so that we can begin cooking tomorrow! We read ingredients and instructions in French and matched them all up to English equivalents. Tomorrow we are working in the food lab. It is our preparation day!

FSF 1P - We enhanced mountains, beehives and ant farms and transformed them into Alamo D'Etre

FSF 3U / 4U - We completed the film, discussed and created some good points de l'intrigue pour Amélie et L'homme qui plantait des arbres, et puis nous avons écrit dans nos journaux.   Journals are due VENDREDI!!!   Helpful hints, photos of notes and questions (as well as what I'm looking for in the journal) are on elearning!!!

FSF 1D-    Today we took up the story we finished (Les trois petits cochons), We listening to INDOCHINE's J'ai demandé à la lune and we found sentences in the past.
We watched and read "A Day in the Life of Homer Simpson" and discovered MRS DR VANDERTRAMP verbs.
You now have an ALAMO D'ETRE Task to complete. It is due Friday. We looked at exemplars and here is the extra criteria that isn't on your evaluation.

-       Label the action you have described in FRENCH and ENGLISH

FSF 1D-  We spoke in affirmative and negative, we unscrambled, we completed a fairy tale with a bunch of irregular verbs. Bravo!! You have been working so well!

FSF 1P- We presented our food creations today. Some presentations will be happening during lunch tomorrow - bring your lunch!!

FSF 3U / 4U -  Nous avons discuter dans les perspectives d'Amélie (ou de son père) l''intrigue (the plot). We also practiced possessive pronouns et nous avons regardé le film.
Your next journal topic will be explaining the values of Amélie et Elzéard and how they compare to one another. You can always watch the movie on Netflix, remember!!!

FSF 1D- Nous avons joué un jeu des films. Nous avons joué 2 jeux du passé compose. Nous nous sommes amusés beaucoup et nous avons parlé beaucoup!!   We have talked about irregular rhyming past participles and will be completing PC next week with an assignment or two.   =)

FSF 1P- It's always important to listen and follow instructions and to use our notes and references as guides to help!!!

 You were assigned a project that you will have a class period to work on tomorrow. You will be presenting your very own food creation   (real or made up entirely by you!) . Today you brainstormed after practicing EN and you will see some good examples tomorrow.

Be sure you have done the chapter work from Friday for tomorrow.
Your final project for our novel is on the hand out drive and we will discuss more demain!

We also created some sentences to describe Les Choristes and you read, distinguished and described actions en français!!

You are expected to know avoir and être without help now. Be sure to search the blog and elearning for helpful sites if you need online practice.

FSF 1D - Seating change! We watched and listened and interpreted Carla Bruni's Quelqu'un qui m'a dit, and we worked on our morning routines. We also used conjunctions in our work today.


FSF 1P- We are now in cooking teams and have been developing our teamwork skills in order to work well together, read instructions and follow them properly, and follow a timeline. We matched up some words with some photo vocab that we will need to follow a recipe en français.


FSF 3U / FSF 4U - We talked about CE QUI , CE QUE, and CE DONT today.
